The North Edinburgh Community Safety Panel have launched xnecs.com, this new website to promote community and personal safety and provide information on local activities, education, events and organisations. Our ambition is to set our panel apart from the traditional "Safer" hookline and create an interactive, useful, entertaining and informative online community safety web presence that complements our innovative community safety initiatives.
The North Edinburgh Community Safety Panel is part of the Lothian & Borders Police initiative to promote crime prevention and community and personal safety. It is made up of members drawn from local organisations including Local Voluntary Groups and businesses, Community Councils, Neighbourhood Watches, and Police Representatives.
The revenues raised from advertising go to The North Edinburgh Community Safety Panel and are used to support its activities and voluntary organisations in the area that are working to promote community safety, crime prevention and build a better neighbourhood for the people and businesses in North Edinburgh.
